Why Flomea Care is only truly beginning now | The story behind our brand

When you launch a new brand, it might seem like
everything revolves around that one day when the products finally go live online.

That's how it felt for me too.

For months, I worked behind the scenes on something I was incredibly excited about. Developing products. Comparing ingredients. Designing packaging. Making choices. Starting over. Testing. Adjusting again.

And then, finally, the moment arrived when the first Flomea Care collection went live.

Yet, it doesn't feel like the end goal has been reached for me.

Quite the opposite.

I actually feel like it's only just beginning.

Flomea Care originated from motherhood

Before Flomea Care became a brand, it was a feeling.

As a mother, I know how often you're busy caring for your child. Every day anew.

A bath.

A shower.

Dry skin.

A massage before sleep.

Precisely because these moments recur so often, I wanted to develop products that would become a pleasant part of them.

Not through complicated promises.

But by consciously choosing mild ingredients, carefully selected formulas, and a care line that parents can use every day with peace of mind.

What many people don't yet know is that Flomea Care literally originated from our family.

The name Flomea is made up of the first letters of my two eldest daughters: Floor and Maud. At the time I came up with the name, they were my inspiration and the reason I started this journey. I am now the proud mother of three beautiful girls, but the name Flomea will always remind me of the beginning of this adventure.

Additionally, I find it important to show that Flomea Care is a brand of Dutch origin.

From the initial idea to the development of our products, everything has been built with great care and attention. Not from a large multinational, but from a mother with a dream: to develop skincare products that I would confidently use for my own children.

You can feel that personal involvement in every choice we make. From the ingredients we select to the appearance of our products and the way we interact with our customers.

Flomea Care is much more than a brand to me.

It is a piece of our family, built from love, trust, and the desire to give other parents the same peace and security that I myself sought.

Small moments make a big difference

For me, care is not just about cleaning the skin.

It's precisely those small moments when you give your child your full attention.

While massaging after a bath.
While drying off.
While cuddling before bedtime.
Or that quiet moment in the morning before the day begins.

It may only be a few minutes, but it is precisely these moments that create connection, security, and peace.

If Flomea Care can be a small part of that, then my mission has already succeeded.

We keep building

The products you now see in our webshop form the very first collection from Flomea Care: Blossom Care.

But this is just the beginning.

Behind the scenes, we are constantly working on new ideas, new products, and new routines that align with the same vision: gentle, conscious care for babies, young children, and their parents.

Step by step, we want to grow into a brand that parents can trust. Not only because of our products, but also because of the knowledge, inspiration, and peace of mind we want to offer.

Over the coming months, I would therefore like to take you behind the scenes.
